Mules Sports Teams & Schedules

The majority of our high school students participate in at least one after-school sport sometime during the year. The local community is very supportive of all our Mules sports teams and travel to many of our "away" events, as well.

Pay-to-Participate:
We Welcome and Appreciate Your Donations

Photo: Wahkiakum High School Mules Football Stadium, Cathlamet, WA Once again to offset the athletic program costs, the district will be charging a "pay to participate" fee to all athletes.

High school student athletes will be charged $60 per sport and middle school student athletes will need to pay $30 per sport. Athletes must pay their fee no later than one day prior to the first game/event (not the day of) in which the athlete is eligible and does not guarantee playing time.

Please make your checks payable to the Wahkiakum School District for both MS and HS student athletes.

Low income students who request assistance, may tap the "donation pool" for 50% of their fee, as long as there are monies available in that pool.

Donations are welcome and should be delivered to the District Office with a check payable to the Wahkiakum School District. If desired, your donations can be earmarked to assist a specific extracurricular program, otherwise they will go to a general fund for Pay to Participate. If you want to make a 100% donation for a particular athlete for a particular sport, we will honor your request.

If you have any questions about making a donation, please contact the School District office at 360-795-3971, or either school building.
