Wahkiakum High School offers high school credited classes through its Online Learning Program, which provides students with the opportunity to take classes outside the traditional classroom.

For the 2016-2017 school year, online classes will be offered to WHS students through Fuel Education.

These online classes are for students who have a scheduling conflict or academic need that is not met with our regular schedule. Priority is given to juniors and seniors.

To enroll, students must first talk with Mr. Niemeyer (our HS College/Career Specialist) to determine if online classes are a good option. If it is determined that an online class is the best option, the application is available at the office and or by click here to download the online course application form.

If accepted, online students stay on campus and complete their assignments in the HS Library. Continued enrollment in WHS's online program is determined by successful academic progress. More specific details about the online learning program and deadlines for applying are available in the online course application packet.

Contact Marc Niemeyer or WHS Principal Stephanie Leitz or call 360-795-3271 for more information.

Home Schooling for All Grades, K-12

The District also has a program for Home School families, incorporating learning at home with parents as teachers, yet having a connection with our District, which includes having communication and some instructional assistance provided by one of our certificated teachers. For more information, contact Cathy Murphy at our K-8 building or call 360-795-3261.

Already a home-school family? Don't forget to complete the Notice of Intent to Home-School Your Children each year and send it in.
