Online Learning Program for High School: Course Offerings and Application Process

Wahkiakum High School offers high school credited classes through its Online Learning Program, which provides students with the opportunity to take classes outside the traditional classroom.

These online classes are for students who have a scheduling conflict or academic need that is not met with our regular schedule. Priority is given to juniors and seniors.

To enroll, students must first talk with Mr. Niemeyer (our HS College/Career Specialist) to determine that an online class is needed. If so, the application is available at the office or Click here for the WHS Online Application.

If accepted, online students stay on campus and complete their assignments in the HS Library. Continued enrollment in WHS's online program is determined by successful academic progress. More specific details about the online learning program and deadlines for applying are available in the online class application.

Contact Marc Niemeyer or WHS Principal Stephanie Leitz or call 360-795-3271 for more information.

Home Schooling for All Grades, K-12

The District also has a program for Home School families, incorporating learning at home with parents as teachers, yet having a connection with our District, which includes having communication and some instructional assistance provided by one of our certificated teachers. For more information, contact Elsa Clark at our High School or call 360-795-3271.
