What's Beyond High School? Here's an Excellent Resource Guide

Download and check out this High School & Beyond Family Resource Guide, written and produced by the Principals of Cowlitz and Wahkiakum County High Schools. This 68-page Resource Guide is packed with a wide variety of great resources that will assist families with post high school planning and the transition from high school to life's next steps.

The High School & Beyond Family Resource Guide was originally created by parents in Whatcom County who were trying to locate information for post high school planning for their children. Their Guide was shared across the state and presented at a summer Career and Technical Education conference where Cowlitz and Wahkiakum County Principals learned of it.

Through commitment from all the Wahkiakum and Cowlitz County high schools as well as Lower Columbia College, we have edited the original document to make it meet the needs of our local families. We believe that all students should have an equal opportunity to realize their career aspirations.

To that end, this Guide will provide you, parents, with the planning tools needed to help your children set career and educational goals. We encourage you to get involved in your child's high school education and support our local high schools.
